Expansion of Noi Bai Airport's international terminal begins
(VOVWORLD) - The expansion of the T2 terminal of Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport kicked off on Sunday with the implementation of the bidding package on construction, supply and installation of equipment.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
This is the most important package of the 196 million USD project, which aims to raise the international terminal’s annual capacity from 10 million to 15 million passengers.
The project is crucial amid the overload Noi Bai airport has experienced since 2018, Mr. Chinh said.
With the project, the airport will be able to serve 30 million and even 40 million passengers each year, the PM noted.
