Da Nang cleans environment to welcome APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Week
(VOVWORLD) - Thousands of people and armed forces have cleaned up Da Nang City to respond to the “Green – Clean – Beautiful Sunday” movement to welcome the upcoming APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Week.

Urban renewal and environmental sanitation were given top priority, especially the main roads leading to the events of the summit week.
Streets are cleaned and flowers are planted. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City’s People’s Committee, said: “The city launched this movement to involve all organizations and individuals to make our environment clean and green. The movement is expected to be maintained after the big event to make Da Nang a clean and beautiful city”.
