(VOVworld)- The Sub-Committee on Customs Procedures on Wednesday discussed administrative reform and the application of science and technology in customs activities as part of the first APEC Senior Officials Meetings.

APEC 2017: Sharing experience in administrative reform, technological application in customs

At the meeting, the Vietnam Customs discussed Vietnam’s legal changes to be relevant to international standards, its IT application, and use of digital certification and paperless administrative procedures. Vu Ngoc Anh, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam General Department of Customs said Vietnam hopes to receive support from APEC economies in terms experience sharing, resource provision, and technological solutions to enhance its capability.
