VOV Vice President Vu Hai said VOV has prepared early for this year’s most important political foreign affairs event: “VOV Radio, TV, online newspaper and printed newspaper have special feature about the APEC Week and all its related meetings. 73 reporters and technicians have been dispatched to Da Nang to cover the event.”

VOV will cover the Vietnamese Prime Minister’s keynote speech in the Vietnam Business Forum, the President’s address at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting and the dialogue between APEC leaders and APEC Business Council as well as the President’s welcoming ceremonies.

Vu Hai pledged a positive contribution by VOV as a member of the Culture and Communications Sub-Committee to ensure APEC Week’s success: “VOV will cover all APEC activities during the week and supply radio signals to international and domestic radio stations. Our technicians have been in Da Nang since October for necessary equipment installation in the press center to ensure the mission is successfully accomplished.”  

Vietnam’s 2^nd hosting of the APEC Week, with the first in 2006, reflects international trust in Vietnam.
