The paintings were selected from the museum's modern art collection and were created by renowned artists of different generations. The beauty of different regions of Vietnam is vividly depicted through the artists' perspectives and diverse styles. Popular destinations in the country such as Ban Gioc waterfall, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc are depicted in the exhibition, reflecting the artists' love for their homeland.
Ms. Vuong Le My Hoc of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum said: “The exhibition aims to create a beautiful space for domestic and foreign visitors to enjoy artworks. Vietnam’s landscapes, from mountainous, coastal areas to the countryside, are depicted through the painters’ eyes. We selected 31 paintings to display, using digital technology to enhance the experience of enjoying the classic art works.”
Dinh Viet Phuong, Director of 3D Art Design Consultancy and Technology Solutions joint stock company, which works with the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, said the art works are displayed using both conventional methods and the Motion Graphics technique.
Phuong said: “The 3D Art Design Consultancy and Technology Solutions joint stock company and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum worked together to bring a new perspective to the art works of well-known artists. First, the art works were designed. We did research on background information as well as the artistic values of each artwork. Then we integrated them with motion graphics to give more life to the artworks.”
Painter Do Duc, whose artworks are displayed at the exhibition, said: “The artworks are clearly visible on the screen. The artworks are displayed in separate areas, so that visitors can enjoy the artworks to the fullest and from different perspectives.”
Thanks to digital technology, viewers can explore the beauty of Vietnam’s various regions beyond the limited space of the museum. The display of the artworks using digital technology will capture the attention of many young viewers.
“This is a great effort by the exhibition organizers to bring classic artworks closer to young people thanks to technology,” said Duc.
