(VOVWORLD) - Activities are underway nationwide to give children a happy Mid-Autumn Festival. Many gifts have been given to disadvantaged children, orphans, and children in remote mountain and island areas.

A Mid-Autumn event was held in Trap hamlet, Ea Hding commune, Dak Lak province, as part of the program “Moon of love”, organized by the Youth Union of Cu Mgar district.
H Truc Eban was excited to attend the program and receive gifts. Eban said: "I’m very happy to attend this Mid-Autumn program. I hope to attend a similar program next year."
Activities to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival are also taking place elsewhere in Dak Lak province. In Cư Kbang commune, a Mid-Autumn celebration program was held where children played games and learned about environmental protection, and an educational session was held on the cultural heritage of the Mong.

In the remote district of Krong Bong, donors from Ho Chi Minh city, in collaboration with the local Red Cross, organized a Mid-Autumn event and donated free medical exams, medicines, and gifts to the local people.
The Vinh Long Technical Education University organized a fair to raise funds for the Mid-Autumn program and made lanterns to present to disadvantaged children in remote areas.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Loi of the Economic and Law Faculty said: "We hope these lanterns will make children happy and help them enjoy a happy Mid-Autumn Festival."
Children of workers in industrial parks have received special care from local administrations and organizations during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Trade unions in many localities have organized activities to give children a happy Mid-Autumn experience.
Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairwoman of the Labor Federation of Binh Duong province, said: "We organized a full-moon festival for the children of workers and children orphaned due to COVID-19. We hope trade unions will always support workers in disadvantaged circumstances."
Many other programs have been held and many gifts have been presented to give children a warm, meaningful, and happy festival.
