(VOVWorld) - The campaign to follow President HCM’s moral example has accelerated nationwide in association with party building work.

The campaign, launched in 2007, is now in its second stage. It aims to create a shared awareness among the entire Party and society of the significance of following President HCM’s moral example. In this phase, the campaign focuses on formulating and realizing a code of conduct for civil servants and highlights the responsibility of key managers and party members. To Huy Rua, Politburo member and Head of the Organization Commission of the Party Central Committee, said: “The campaign must be strengthened among the party members and create a ripple effect in society. Managers and key people at all levels must strictly abide by the regulations of the Party and its organizations”.

According to a recent review, the campaign has been associated with party building work in all cities and provinces nationwide. Phan Cong Tuyen, Head of Thua Thien Hue Province’s Party Commission for Communications and Education, talks about activities in Thua Thien Hue province:“One important measure of the campaign’s success is integrating political tasks with specific outcomes. Thua Thien Hue has seen a number of new role models who have done a great job of following President HCM’s moral example”.

Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, said that following President HCM’s moral example has been made part of performance management for party organizations at all levels. “Following President HCM’s moral example should be a daily practice for all public workers. It should also be part of local economic development and party building,” he said.
