World Economic Forum on ASEAN 2018 to open in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) - The World Economic Forum on ASEAN (WEF ASEAN) 2018 which is scheduled to take place in Hanoi from September 11 to 13, will be an opportunity to shape up growth direction for the ASEAN in Industry 4.0 and boost cooperation with the world.

President of the WEF Borge Brende has praised the role of Vietnam in regional and global value chains, especially its economic recovery and cooperative catalyst in this forum. He pledged close cooperation with Vietnam to ensure successful organization of the event. Besides world leaders and corporate executives, more than 1,200 business representatives from the US, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the ASEAN, as well as delegates from overseas business associations in Vietnam, embassies, diplomatic and economic representative offices, and international organisations are to take part in the forum.
