Youth Month 2022 was launched in Ho Chi Minh City Sunday with the theme “Creative Youth.” Young people will take part in various activities to support the city’s goals: safely and flexibly adapt to and effectively control the COVID-19 pandemic, improve the quality of urban administration and the investment environment, and help businesses. Other activities involve social security and mental health care for people affected by COVID-19.

The Youth Month of Can Tho city will launch various movements to inspire young people to lead helpful lives, join volunteer activities, and participate in urban civilization and new rural development programs.

Lu Thi Ngoc Anh, Secretary of Can Tho city’s Youth Union, said: “On March 13 Can Tho city will launch activities to build new rural areas. On March 23 the Youth Union will organize a Green Sunday program to engage young people in keeping the city green, clean, and beautiful. All activities will comply with COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures.”  

Da Nang city’s Youth Union has provided 110,000 USD to repair a bilingual library, open two new libraries, and donate 4 charity houses to disadvantaged Youth Union members.

Nguyen Ba Duan, Vice Secretary of Da Nang city’s Youth Union, said: “Da Nang city’s Youth Union expects all branches to carry out activities to inspire young people to volunteer for socio-economic tasks.”

The Youth Union of Dak Lak province will install lights along 5 km of rural road, asphalt 1 km of road, provide free health-checks for 2,000 people, take care of 3,000 children from impoverished villages, build 5 charity houses, and found 3 startups.
