(VOVworld) – An exemplary campaign called “Dien Bien Phu in the air” was launched in the army at a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday. Military personnel will learn more about the 12 day and night offensive against a US massive aerial bombardment of Hanoi in late December 1972. They are also informed about national pride and fighting spirit of the Vietnam People’s Army, including the heroic Air Defence Force. The campaign helps uphold the military’s creativity, self-determination and readiness to defend the fatherland in every situation.
