(VOVworld) – Hanoi has hosted a program to celebrate the Hanoi-Dien Bien Phu in the air victory, jointly organized by the Air Defence and Air Force Service and Vietnam Television. Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Air Force, Major General Nguyen Van Thanh spoke at Sunday’s event: On the 40^th anniversary of the Hanoi-Dien Bien Phu in the air victory, soldiers of the Air Defence and Air Force Service would like to extend our deep gratitude to heroic martyrs who fell for the national sky protection and liberation. We are grateful to our predecessors, who made Vietnam’s glorious history. We also thank artists for praising the achievements of Vietnamese soldiers and people and encouraging the air force and defenders to attain the victory.
