A: Andrew said that the last 10 minutes of the program on March 10th on 7280khz was difficult to hear with SINPO 34232 and fairly poor voice modulation. The following day, on 7280khz again, reception was poor, the main problem being signal splashback from CRI on 7285khz. Even filtering down didn't do much, Andrew said. Although the reception at the start was better, he rated the overall SINPO 42332.

A: Sanil Deep said many countries have begun vaccinations in order to eliminate the pandemic. In Kerala, where he lives, vaccination has begun for people over 60 or over 45 if they have health problems. He said he wishes all ò mankind in a future full of happiness and love.”
B:Viet Nam launched its largest-ever vaccination campaign on March 8. Up to 100 million doses will be administered to people nationwide. 20,700 medical and other frontline workers had received COVID-19 shots as of Tuesday. Vaccination sites reported normal post-injection reactions, including fever, redness, swelling, tiredness, headache, muscle pain, and nausea.
A: The Vietnamese Government has accelerated negotiations with foreign vaccine manufacturers to ensure it can get 150 million doses this year to cover 70% of its population. While inoculations using imported vaccines are underway, Vietnamese scientists will speed up their search for homegrown vaccines.
B: COVIVAC, the second Vietnamese COVID-19 vaccine, began the first phase of human trials early this week. The vaccine was developed by the Nha Trang Institute of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals and Ha Noi Medical University, using primary chicken embryo cell culture, a technique the institute used previously to successfully produce seasonal flu vaccines.
A: Earlier, pre-clinical studies in India, the US, and Viet Nam showed that COVIVAC is safe and effective. The clinical trial volunteers are divided into groups of 12-18 people each, Each volunteer will get two doses with an interval of 28 days.
B: Viet Nam currently has four Covid-19 vaccines under development by Nanogen, the Institute of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals (IVAC), Vaccine and Biological Production Company No. 1 (Vabiotech), and the Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals (Polyvac).
A: Vaccines offer the best hope for restoring normalcy. Until we better understand COVID-19 immunity, people should strictly follow all preventive measures: facemasks, disinfection, distancing, no large gatherings, and accurate health declarations.
B: Until we are sure of “herd immunity”, we will need to continue relying on the use of masks and social distancing to limit the spread of infection. B: The Vietnam Football Championship V. League 1 is the top professional football league in Vietnam. It’s controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company. It is contested by 14 clubs who play each other on a home and away basis. The team finishing on top at the end of the season is crowned the champion and enters the Asian Football Cup (AFC).

A: A public poll conducted by the AFC last year, which took into consideration each club’s success and fanbase, showrf that Hanoi FC was the most popular club in Vietnam.
B: Hanoi FC won three of the past four V.League seasons and has been crowned champion five times in the past decade. Founded in 2006, Hanoi FC first appeared in the top flight in 2009 and a year later they won the V.League for the first time. They have finished outside the top two positions just once, with four first-place finishes between 2013 and 2019.
A: The AFC says “the contemporary powerhouse of a football-mad country, Hanoi FC are only 14 years old, but five V.League 1 titles, including four since 2016, underline their exceptional success as a football club, which also saw them fall just one goal short of reaching the 2019 AFC Cup Final.”
B: In its latest update, German football site Transfermakt listed Hanoi FC among the 10 most valuable clubs in Southeast Asia. Hanoi was 10th on the list with a value of 4.35 million euros. Three of the club’s best-known players are Nguyen Quang Hai, Doan Van Hau and Do Hung Dung.
A: Hanoi was the only Vietnamese club on the list. Other valuable clubs in Vietnam are Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Viettel FC. The most valuable player on Hanoi’s squad is Brazilian forward Bruno Cantanhede, who is valued at 400,000 euros. Quang Hai is the highest-valued Vietnamese player at 300,000 euros.
B: Vietnamese clubs are now competing for the 2021 V. League title, after the season was postponed following a COVID-19 outbreak in Vietnam early this year.
