A: The Voice of Vietnam has recently launched “What do you know about Vietnam?” 2025, a contest for foreign listeners and overseas Vietnamese inside and outside Vietnam to celebrate VOV’s 80th anniversary. The contest, which runs every 5 years, is receiving great attention from listeners around the world!
B: Ding Lu from Jiangsu, China, submitted the first entry received by the Chinese section. Meanwhile, the Russian section has reported that it has also received a number of entries, including one from Kirill Sosnovsky on March 11.
A: Our Indonesian listeners have also shown enthusiasm for the contest. Many of them have expressed their willingness to participate.
B: Listeners of Cambodia also shared their excitement about the contest as well. Sou Sambath from Phnom Penh said: “I find this year’s contest very meaningful, as 2025 marks many major changes in Vietnam. I also hope the program will provide suggestions for answering questions related to Vietnam’s orientations and goals in the era of development.”
B: From Peru, listener Johnny Antonio Ramírez López wrote: “We have three months to answer the interesting questions of the contest and awaken all the potential for research, analysis, and writing within us. I welcome such an important competition, as it is a great opportunity to express our love, respect, gratitude, and admiration for Vietnam and the Voice of Vietnam, which has contributed to building a greener, more peaceful, and more just world.”

Amariqbal Singh is now living in Hanoi, but he usually returns to his hometown at Amritsar around this time to celebrate Holi, the most joyous and widely celebrated festival there. He told us:
