Da Nang allows resumption of passenger transportation

(VOVWORLD) - Various forms of transport such as train, car, public bus, and plane were granted permission to resume operations on the morning of September 7 in the central city of Da Nang.

The check-in counters remain empty as the majority of passengers flying from Da Nang to either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City do their check-in procedures online. |

Elsewhere, Da Nang railway station also opens in the morning, with only a few travelers purchasing train tickets. |
By 10 a.m. on September 7, passengers buy as many as 100 tickets for trains departing between September 7 and September 13. |
Only two pairs of trains are scheduled to run on September 7, including trains SE1 and SE2 in the afternoon, followed by trains SE7 and SE28 in the evening. Moving forward, the SE21 train from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City is due to be added on September 8. |
The first passenger bus returns to operation at 5 a.m., with some buses delaying setting out due to a lack of passengers. |
A number of localities are still requesting a medical report from residents who return from Da Nang, with many local people worried that travel by road won’t return to normal for a significant amount of time. |
