At the construction site of Rose Town apartment building at 79 Ngoc Hoi street in Hoang Mai district, from the early morning, a vibrant working atmosphere has begun.
More than 100 workers are busily embarking on their work to complete the items in time to hand over the apartments to customers in December.
During the past time of social distancing, 169 workers of the construction site were unable to return to their hometown.
After construction activities resume, life is gradually returning to a new normal, construction workers are excited.
Everyone works with a smile on their faces.
A short break on a hot day
Truong Van Lat from Yen Dinh district, Thanh Hoa province said, "For the past three months, I have not been able to return to my hometown. Everybody in the construction team has always encouraged each other to overcome difficulties. Being able to return to work, we feel very excited and will work hard.”
Tran Thi Hoa from Thanh Hoa province said: “During the epidemic, I stayed at the construction site. The company's support for necessities along with the encouragement of my colleagues help me reduce homesickness. Now that things are normal again, I feel comfortable and will try to save money to send back to my family."
At construction sites with more than 100 people working together, the project management board requires workers to measure temperature before entering the construction site, record a list of people who come to work by day, wear protective gears, and keep a safe distance when working.
Most workers at the construction site are periodically tested for Covid-19 and given the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
All daily workers working here are controlled by identification mode.
Construction workers work on shifts.
Mr. Phan Van Dong, Deputy Executive of the Rose Town Project said, “Pandemic prevention measures are strictly followed, because safety for production is a vital task for both businesses and employees in the current context.”
Contractors and investors are racing against time to speed up the progress of construction investment projects, ensuring quality in accordance with regulations. With Covid-19 put under control of Hanoi, the construction industry is hopeful about a strong recovery.
