Hanoi's Nam Tu Liem district disinfected following suspected positive COVID-19 case

(VOVWORLD) - Local authorities began to disinfect large parts of Me Tri ward in Nam Tu Liem district and a pizza restaurant on Tran Thai Tong street in Cau Giay district on July 29 following the detection of a suspected positive case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The patient suspected of suffering from the COVID-19 is known as a 23-year-old man of Me Tri ward in Nam Tu Liem who is a staff member of a pizza restaurant on Tran Thai Tong street in Cau Giay district. He regularly travels to Da Nang and accompanied by 29 people between July 12 and 15. |
He started to display symptoms of the virus such as a cough and fever on July 23, later testing positive for the SARS-CoV-2 once on July 29.

Local authorities were quick to disinfect the home belonging to the suspected case in Me Tri ward of Nam Tu Liem district.

A temporary lockdown has now been imposed throughout the area.

A number of people have been advised to follow quarantine measures at home.
