(VOVWORLD) - Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide surprisingly spent time on October 20 morning walking along Hoan Kiem Lake, one of the landmarks in Vietnam’s capital city.

Suga has chosen Vietnam as his first destination for an overseas visit after taking office a month ago. The visit shows Japan’s desire to strengthen the extensive strategic partnership with Vietnam – an emerging economy in Asia and the Pacific.
