Phuc Dien pomelo garden as a dreamy location to check-in as Tet approaches

(VOVWORLD) - The lush green leaves and heavy golden grapefruits of the Dien pomelo trees signal the arrival of the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).
These days, the pomelo gardens in Phuc Dien ward, Bac Tu Liem district in Hanoi are ready for the harvest season.

Nguyen Gia Dung, the owner of the Dung Thu Pomelo Garden, said his 4‑hectare-wide garden has about 2,000 grapefruit trees that are at least 29 years old. Every year, the trees are laden with golden ripe fruit hanging from the branches as the harvest comes.

The dreamy beauty of the Dien pomelo gardens has attracted a large number of visitors who want to capture its rare and beautiful moments.

When grapefruit trees bloom, it’s a poetic scene that’s perfect for taking photos.

A ticket costs 50,000 VND (2 USD) per person to enter the garden. Visitors can buy pomelos at the garden for 10,000 to 40,000 VND per fruit, depending on the size and quality.

The ripe yellow grapefruits with their mild aroma signal the coming of Tet.

Local residents are busy working in the gardens during the end of the year.

For a long time, Dien pomelo has been considered a specialty of Hanoi. The citrus fruit is one of the most sought-after products that Vietnamese people purchase for the Tet celebration.
