RT-PCR tests show 652 negative COVID-19 results in Hanoi

(VOVWORLD) - A total of 4,751 samples have been collected in Hanoi as of August 10 as part of an RT-PCR test campaign on locals who came back from Da Nang between July 15- 29, with 652 of the group being confirmed to have tested negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Medical staff operating in the capital implement a number of large-scale real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests between August 8 and August 12. It is anticipated that the 75,000 people who returned to Hanoi from Da Nang, a fresh COVID-19 hotspot, will participate in the campaign.
