Thousands of HCM City workers get COVID-19 vaccine shot

(VOVWORLD) - Roughly 5,500 workers in the Tan Thuan export processing zone in Ho Chi Minh City were inoculated against the COVID-19 pandemic on June 20 as part of the southern city’s widespread vaccination campaign.
Strongman Co. Ltd sees 538 workers inoculated against the virus. They don face masks and maintain a safe distance at all times while waiting for the vaccination. |
Workers must have their samples taken twice as part of COVID-19 testing ahead of receiving their vaccination. |

Other workers from six companies in the Tan Thuan export processing zone are also given the shot. |
The workers have their health checked and are then given a consultation, both before and after the injection. |
A female worker of VNG Corporation feels a bit nervous while being vaccinated, but she is aware vaccination is the most effective way to protect people from virus infection. |
A total of 1,157 workers of Kim May Organ Vietnam Co. Ltd are eager to receive their vaccination. |
At present, no workers have recorded any abnormal symptoms after their injection. |
