Vietnam through the lens of international photographers

(VOVWORLD) - A photo exhibition entitled “Vietnam through the lens of international photographers” opened on November 26 for free of charge at the Library of Ninh Binh province. It is held biennially by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to create a national brand for Vietnam’s photography and promote Vietnam’s beautiful landscapes and people.

The exhibition “Vietnam through the Lens of International Photographers” is the highlight of the Vietnam International Photography Festival, jointly organized for the first time this year by the Ministry and the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee.

After the launch, the organizing committee received 1,567 entries from 98 professional and amateur photographers from 19 countries and territories. The Arts Council established by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism selected 177 works by 93 photographers to display at the exhibition.

According to the organizers, the photos on display vividly capture Vietnam’s lifestyles, scenery, and people through the creative perspective of foreign photographers.

Themes of photos cover architecture, monuments, festivals, traditional art and crafts, scenic spots, and life in the mountain, rural areas, on the rivers, and in big cities.
