Vietnam tourism wins 16 categories at World Travel Awards
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam's tourism destinations and brands have been named in the top 16 award categories of the 2022 World Travel Awards, with the country accredited as World’s Leading Heritage Destination for the third time since 2019.
The rise in the rankings of Vietnam’s tourism, especially after a long hiatus due to COVID-19 has shown Vietnam's growing attraction to foreign friends.

1. Vietnam - World’s Leading Heritage Destination 2022
Vietnam has been named as World’s Leading Heritage Destination 2022 for the third time since 2019.

2. Hanoi - World’s Leading City Break Destination 2022
Hanoi has been named World's Leading Destination for City Breaks 2022. Russia’s Moscow won this title last year.

3. World's Leading Regional Nature Destination 2022 – Moc Chau
Moc Chau in Son La province, surpassed Malaysia’s Cameron Highlands, Bolivia’s Laguna Colorado, Costa Rica’s Monteverde, Hawaii’s NaPali Coast State Park, Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni, and China’s Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area to become World's Leading Regional Nature Destination 2022 for the first time.

4. World's Leading Town Destination 2022 - Tam Dao
Tam Dao town in Vinh Phuc province has surpassed many world-famous destinations such as Hana (Hawaii, the US) or Shirakawa-go (Gifu, Japan), and five other towns of Czech, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Nepal, the US and New Zealand to become World's Leading Town Destination 2022. This is the first time Tam Dao has won at World Travel Awards.
