(VOVworld) – National Assembly Vice-chairman Uong Chu Luu inspected election preparations in Soc Trang province on Tuesday.

He appreciated Soc Trang province’s thorough preparation for the election, calling on authorities to ensure order and security for the election. He asked the authorities to continue settling people’s complaints and petitions, and to encourage people to go to the polls.

A National Election Council delegation led by Head of the Economic Commission Nguyen Van Giau worked with Long An province’s Election Committee on preparations for the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils election at all levels in the 2016-2021 term. Mr. Giau spoke highly of Long An province’s preparations and asked local authorities to keep publicizing the election.
