The exhibit, which opened on Tuesday, aims to raise public awareness of the significance of voting, and the roles of the National Assembly and People’s Councils. The exhibit also features the preparation work in Hanoi for the upcoming general election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term. The exhibit includes books, newspapers, and documents featuring achievements in building and developing Hanoi. Tong Thi Hang, a student of the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, visited the exhibit: “The exhibits are useful, featuring the information and history of National Assembly elections in different periods of time. Through the exhibit, I have become more aware of my right and responsibility to vote to choose the most qualified people to serve the nation”.
The exhibit is open until May 23.
