More than 300 students from Vietnam’s universities have won KF Samsung scholarships worth a total of 97,000 USD. This is the first time the Korea International Exchange Fund has awarded scholarships to children of policy beneficiaries and families who have rendered great service to the nation. Disadvantaged students from a number of provinces also received scholarships. Since 1997, the Samsung Scholarship Program has donated approximately 300,000 USD to help 1.3 million Vietnamese students and has provided financial support to buy equipment for secondary schools in Vietnam.
