(VOVworld) - 386 prisoners in the custody of the Hanoi police will be rewarded during the Lunar New Year festival for good behavior during their imprisonment. 160 prisoners will be pardoned and 226 others will have their sentence reduced by 3 to 10 months. The Hanoi authorities made the announcement on Thursday. The municipal police denied any Tet relief to robbers, gangsters, or extortionists.
