(VOVworld) – The General Statistics Office of Vietnam said 84% of Vietnamese processing and manufacturing companies support the signing of international trade agreements. The survey on the readiness for global integration was conducted with the participation of 3,500 Vietnamese processing and manufacturing companies.

The survey found 83.8% of respondents have had knowledge of the ASEAN Economic Community, followed by the Trans Pacific Partnership, the Free Trade Agreements between Vietnam and Japan, the EU, and the Republic of Korea.
Vietnamese businesses expect to seize opportunities to improve product quality, expand production, and penetrate new markets. They said equipment and technology are key factors to raise competitiveness in integration.
