Algerian press considers Vietnam socio-economic model
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is a socio-economic model for developing countries, the Algerian press said this week in articles praising Vietnam’s achievements during nearly 35 years of “Doi moi” (renewal) under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
On the occasion of the Party’s 90th anniversary, Algerian newspapers and websites, including Elmoujadhid, La tribune des lecteurs, and La tribune diplomatique internationale, posted articles praising the role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam’s historic turning point and expressed admiration for Vietnam’s growing status in the international community.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Algeria Nguyen Thanh Vinh said the articles have help promote Vietnam’s image and raise awareness of the Vietnam-Algeria friendship, particularly among young people.
