(VOVworld) – The Angolan embassy in Vietnam held a press conference on Wednesday to mark 40 years of Vietnam-Angola diplomatic ties and Angola’s 40th Independence Day.
Ambassador Joao Manuel Bernando said approximately 40,000 Vietnamese people are working in Angola and that Angola has formulated a new investment law, which will soon be translated into Vietnamese. He said that Vietnam and Angola have great potential for cooperation in oil and gas, mining, telecommunications, and agriculture. A Vietnamese Association has been established in Angola in line with the local law.
