(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang expressed his pleasure at recent developments in the northern province of Bac Ninh during a visit there on Sunday. Sang urged Bac Ninh authorities to balance the industrial and agricultural production and devise policies to tap local potential for stronger development. Sang stressed the importance of human resource training to meet the strict requirements of regional and international integration.

President Truong Tan Sang said: "Local leaders should create favorable conditions for business development, helping them increase their competitiveness now that Vietnam is opening its market for foreign firms. The provincial and central government will work together to design appropriate policies."

During the visit, Sang toured several enterprises and burned incense to late Party leader Nguyen Van Cu at his memorial in Phu Khe commune.
