(VOVworld) – A grand ceremony was held Sunday in Binh Thuan to mark the province’s 40^th anniversary of liberation day on April 19^th. Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, reviewed the province’s revolutionary traditions and contributions to the general offensive to liberate southern Vietnam and reunify the country.

He called on the local government and people to stay united and do their best to boost Binh Thuan’s development. To Huy Rua, head of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission, addressed the event: "Binh Thuan needs to uphold its revolutionary traditions to boost the provincial development on a par with other provinces across Vietnam. It’s important for Binh Thuan to become an industrialized province with an appropriate economic structure of industry, service, and agriculture."
