(VOVworld) – The Hue Relics Preservation Center on Sunday opened a bonsai exhibition in Cơ Hạ garden in Hue City, featuring 400 bonsais of unique shapes, orchids, and dozens of calligraphies of the Nguyen Kings. Cơ Hạ was one of 5 royal gardens inside the Hue royal citadel, built by King Minh Mang in 1837. At the beginning of the 20th century, due to poor maintenance, the Nguyen Kings closed the main architectural works.
