(VOVworld) - Chairman of the Japan-Mekong Economic Cooperation Committee Yoichi Kobayashi is leading a business delegation of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry on a working visit to Vietnam.

During a reception on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai said he hoped the two countries’ businesses will continue to cooperate in trade, investment, and priority areas of the Industrialization Strategy within the framework of Vietnam-Japan cooperation. Yoichi said they will survey a number of industrial parks in Vietnam for investment, particularly in the support industry. He urged the Vietnamese government to create favorable conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises to take part in multinational production chains and develop a skilled labor force.
