(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, who is also Chairman of the Committee for Constitutional Amendment Drafting, chaired the 4th session of the committee. The participants will comment on the revised draft constitution, which comprises of 11 chapters, 140 provisions. The draft version has 1 chapter and 7 provisions less than the 1992 Constitution. Committee members focused their discussions on people’s sovereignty. Political regime, human rights, citizens’ rights, economics, society, culture, education, science, technology, environment, national defence, and the improvement of the state apparatus. NA Chairman Hung praised the efforts by the Committee for Constitutional Amendment Drafting. The draft constitution will be submitted the NA session in October.
