Delegates agreed on the fundamental rights to information access by children, especially in HIV/AIDS and children trafficking.
Lawyer Nguyen Hung Quang says information dedicated to children must be relevant to their ages, genders, and in languages understandable to them: “Children must be a central audience in information access, which must be relevant to their competency to digest and serve children’s development and interests. Information harming children’s development must be banned.”
