COVID-19 largely impacts vulnerable household families, businesses
(VOVWORLD) -The UNDP Vietnam and its partner agencies held a workshop on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on Vietnam’s economic recovery prospects, especially vulnerable households and businesses.
UNDP Resident Representative in Vietnam, Caitlin Wiesen, emphasized on the importance of the pandemic impact on ethnic households, migrants, small and micro businesses.
She said coordination is an important factor to minimize the social and economic impact of the pandemic. Creative approaches will help Vietnamese people and businesses ensure a rapid economic recovery in a new normality with due resilience and better equality, thus no one is left behind.
