(VOVworld) - Delegations of Vietnam Naval forces, representatives of finance sector, journalists and artists on Saturday began a trip to visit and carry gifts to soldiers and local people on Truong Sa archipelago.

Deputy Finance Minister Nguyen Thi Minh heads up the delegations: "Each staff will donate one day of salary to raise fund for a high-speed boat  worth around 175,000 USD to be presented to soldiers on Truong Sa archipelago. I have only known Truong Sa archipelago through documents and pictures and this is the first time I visit this island".

During the visit, the delegation will attend the inauguration ceremony of the first house on Da Tay Island under the Program “Let’s build Truong Sa” launched by Tuoi Tre or Youth newspaper.
