(VOVworld) - The Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association (VLFA) needs to exert every effort to promote people-to-people exchanges to bolster the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. At a meeting in Hanoi on Thursday to celebrate the association’s 40^th founding anniversary (January 15, 1975-2015), Deputy PM Phuc praised efforts by the association over the past four decades that have deepened bilateral ties. Vietnam-Laos relations are improving thanks to joint efforts by generations of leaders and people in both countries, Phuc said, expressing his hope that relations will continue to improve in all fields.
