(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam participated at the opening ceremony of a new school year of Ho Chi Minh City National University on Friday.

He discussed with the executive board models on self financing and credit swap with partner universities and cooperation with University of California Berkeley. He called for further learning from advanced educational system in the world so that Vietnamese graduates will have skills and competency up to their international peers. He said the government supported tertiary educational autonomy and encourage schools to develop their specific plans on this issue
