(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited people in Dien Bien precinct, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi, and attended a “Great National Unity Festival” to mark the 83^rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. 300 delegates representing 3,000 households in the precinct participated in the event. The Deputy Prime Minister said that Dien Bien, which is located near the capital’s centre, should further develop their achievements, uphold democracy, build unity in their residential areas, and speed up the movement for learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. To mark the occasion, he gave gifts to some beneficiaries’ families and the precinct’s poor.
