(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Municipal Party Committee Le Thanh Hai co-chaired a conference on Monday, approving a pilot scheme on urban administration in the city.

The scheme includes 6 parts, focusing on the restructuring of the administrative management at all levels, regulations on Party organization, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations in urban administration and human resource development for the plan’s implementation.

Deputy Prime Minister Phuc said Ho Chi Minh city was the economic, cultural and social center of Vietnam, so it was necessary to create favorable conditions for the city to fully utilize its potential. The pilot scheme is expected to be presented to the Politburo on March 13^th before being submitted to the National Assembly.
