DPRK leader on official visit to Vietnam

A high-ranking delegation from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) led by Kim Yong-nam, Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly, arrived Hanoi Sunday for a three-day official visit.

The visit, at the invitation of President Truong Tan Sang, also includes Minister of Foreign Trade Ri Ryong Nam, Minister of Mining Industry Kang Min Chol, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kung Sok-ung, and the DPRK Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Chang-il. Kim Yong-nam will meet with Vietnam’s President Truong Tan Sang and Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
