During talks following the ceremony, President Tran Dai Quang expressed his belief that Egypt will reap more achievements under the leadership of President Al Sisi, contributing to ensuring the country’s socio-political stability and economic growth. President Al Sisi attached great importance to Mr. Quang’s visit, saying it contributes to lifting the two countries’ ties to new heights.

The two leaders acknowledged progress in bilateral ties, including the successful hosting of the 1^st meeting of the sub-cooperative committee on trade and industry in Egypt last April to implement agreements reached during the 5^th Vietnam-Egypt inter-governmental committee meeting in August last year. Mr. Al Sisi pledged to create the best conditions for the penetration of Vietnamese goods into Egyptian markets.
