Finland urged to give more support in clean energy development

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has asked Finland to continue supporting small-scale clean energy development projects for Vietnamese households via joint ventures or the use of official development assistance funds.

During a reception in Hanoi on Monday for Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Tapani Lintila, Mr. Dam said both sides need to increase the exchange of visits by economic and trade delegations to enhance mutual understanding, seek business opportunities, build start-up and innovation centers, and promote collaboration in digital economy and e-commerce. Mr. Lintila said the Finnish Government wants to establish new partnerships between enterprises and individuals in the two nations, and is interested in developing cooperative ties in information technology, smart urban development, energy, clean technology, education, and startup ecosystems.
