(VOVworld)-Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has begun an official visit to the Republic of Korea and to attend the “Vietnam Week in RoK” from December 6-9. The visit coincides with the 20^th bilateral diplomatic ties anniversary. During talks with his Korean counterpart Kim Sung Hwan on Friday, both sides agreed to foster cooperation and strengthen senior level visits to boost ties in all areas. They pledged mutual support in international fora, especially the United Nations, APEC and ASEAN+. The Foreign Minister paid a courtesy visit to President Lee Myung Bak the same day and met representatives of several friendship organizations.
