Government offers more support for people affected by COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) - The Prime Minister has announced an electricity rate reduction of 10-15% for two months for customers in localities that are locked down because of the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Quarantine facilities that collect fees from quarantined people will also be exempt from paying electricity bills.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has asked for a reduced price of clean water for customers directly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic or in areas locked down under the Prime Minister’s Directive 16.
He also asked the Ministry of Information and Communications to direct telecommunications businesses to reduce their service fees.
