Ministries and agencies at all levels are urged to do their best to overcome challenges and achieve the finance, agriculture, and export-import targets set in National Assembly and Government resolutions. The Vietnamese Government yesterday released the resolution of its August meeting which enumerates the main targets of next year’s socio-economic development plan as stabilizing the macro-economy, keeping inflation in check, ensuring an appropriate rate of economic growth, and restructuring the national economy. The restructuring focuses on public investment, State-owned enterprises, the financial and banking system, and people’s living standards. Vietnam is also set to expand external relations, integrate pro-actively into the world, safeguard independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity and ensure political stability, order, and social safety.
