Greek parliament passes 2015 state budget plan

(VOVworld) – The Greek Parliament voted 134-115 to pass the 2015 state budget. The new budget envisages economic growth of 2.9% and a budget deficit of 0.2% in 2015. Greek authorities called the budget’s approval a victory. Some argued that the 2015 state budget might pull Greece out of aid programs. Greece’s lenders, including the European Council, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, said Greece was too optimistic with its targets.
