Hanoi to open pedestrian street in Hoang Mai district
(VOVWORLD) - The People’s Committee of Hoang Mai district, Hanoi, plans to open a new pedestrian street this year.

According to the plan, the 900-meter new pedestrian street will be built in the Southern Urban Area South of Ring Road 3, covering nearly 13,600 square meters. It will be divided into four main areas for food, commercial services, art and culture, and sports activities.
It will be open from Friday night until midnight Sunday in 2022 and 2023 as a pilot period and officially in 2024.
Meanwhile, the People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, is looking into turning the middle and alluvial beaches along the Red River into a park.
