Wednesday meeting’s experience sharing will help HCMC leverage the 4th industrial revolution to build the first smart city in Vietnam. The experts said they are ready to help HCMC adopt advanced technology and learn from successful smart city models. Professor Dang Luong Mo, a Japanese of Vietnamese descent, said: “Ho Chi Minh City’s population is more than 10 million, so it is not easy to resolve its problems. It is necessary to build a smart city here to ease traffic jams and over-crowding. We need to apply new technology to make HCMC a model for other cities in Vietnam”.

On Thursday, the delegation had a working session with the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City’s Hi-tech Zone.
